For those that aren't aware, Cranham now has it own play-cricket website that contains details
of all fixture and results including scorecards.

Play-cricket is a nationwide ECB initiative aimed at consolidating all match reporting into one universally
recognisable format - it's also a requirement of County League teams to maintain a play-cricket website.
Due to lack of player availability Stroud have been forced to cancel the Sunday friendly on 28th Jun.
The game has now been rearranged for 12th Jul.

For the two people in the County who havent yet heard from the man himself, Jer crashed his first ever
century against Charlton Kings Working Mens Club on Sunday - a massive 136.
James Petrie took 3-5 and Ben Pockett cracked an unbeaten half-century as Cranham recorded
and emphatic 8 wicket win over Highham Court.

An aggregate of nearly 500 runs under blue sky was the perfect start to the season
and for Matt Smith in particular who cracked his first century in all forms of cricket
- a magnificent 148.
In reply Marle Hill were with it all the way thanks to two of their guests -
Nathan Moore (82) and Ali Bell (40). Lack of firepower in the tail, however, meant that
Cranham ended comfortable winner by 22 runs.
Cranham entertain Leonard Stanley in another friendly next Sunday.
The season gets underway on Sunday 19th Apr with a friendly against Cheltenham's Marle Hill.
The game is a 2.30pm kick off - your support is most welcome.
The new outdoor nets have been completed and are ready to use.
It is the intention to run a net session every Friday night (when there is no Friday game)
and most probably in midweek on a Weds.
The AGM will take place at 8pm in the clubhouse.
The open day is an opportunity for everyone to come up ad join us at
the club to see what goes on and our plans for the season etc.
There will be kids coaching and tea and cake early on followed
by wine and cheese and the official 2009 opening later. More information to follow.
The event will take place from 4pm at the cricket club.

A series of indoor net sessions have been booked at Archway School, Stroud
on Sunday mornings 11am-12pm.
There are four sessions running on the following dates:

Two lanes will be available and the sessions will cost around £3 per-head (depending on numbers).

Following Eastcombes decision to remain in the SDCA Premier for 2009, Cranham
(as runners-up) have been offered and accepted promotion to division 5 on the
3D Sports Gloucestershire County Cricket Leauge.
