Pocketts Power Cranham to 182 win over Minchinhampton In weather more akin to November than August skipper Alex Pockett won the toss and elected to bat on a slow and soggy Minchinhampton track. It proved to be an excellent toss to win as the Pockett brothers played with freedom at the top of the order. James was duly rewarded with an excellent century including some beautifully clipped sixes over the mid-on boundary. With poor weather looming skipper Pockett made the wise decision to declare the Cranham innings on 234-3. In reply, Minch were blown away for a paltry 52 to record a colossal 182 victory and, more importantly, 22pts in the bag. Excellent preparation then for the tasty clash with Hawkesbury next week.
