New Tai Chi Chuan/ Qigong class

There is a new Tai Chi Chuan/ Qigong class starting at Stratford Park Leisure Centre on Wednesdays at 6.15-7.15pm as from 9th May. This will be open mainly for beginners, but all levels are welcome. The syllabus will focus on Solo Forms, Push Hands, Qigong, Philosophy and Chinese Medicine. Martial Applications will be discussed but not generally practiced until some skill in the form has been attained. Shaolin visit

Shaolin Master Shi Xing Jun will be travelling to the UK to teach in August and September. These two 5 day seminars are open to all clubs and styles and is being organised by Dragonfly Martial Arts. Buddhist Monk Shi Xing Jun is a 34th generation Shaolin Master who lives in the original Temple in Dengfeng, China. He is the number one representative of the Shaolin Temple, and is responsible for the training of performance team who travel the world showing the Martial skill of the warrior monks.
