Uplands Playgroup, Stroud - About Us

Uplands Playgroup is situated adjacent to Uplands School, Uplands, Stroud,Gloucestershire. We are an independently run pre-school playgroup offering up to 16 morning places from Monday to Friday and 10 afternoon places from Monday to Wednesday. The group aims to provide a happy and stimulating environment for children from the ages of 2 years 9 months to school age.

Uplands Playgroup is a charitable organisation and run by a committee, most of whom are parents of children currently with us. We offer the LEA Nursery Voucher Scheme for 3 and 4 year olds, are a member of PATA and we are registered with OFSTED. Please refer to the Ofsted website to view our last Good Ofsted report (2009).

We have important close links with the school and we are extremely proud to be able to offer a service to the families of our community.
